Please download the GoMuseum app and create your profile. Select a city, a museum, a tour, a guide or browse the app for tour possibilities and inspiration. The price you see is the price you pay.

Book and pay the guided tour of your choice. You will receive confirmation of the booking with contact details for your guide.

The guide will meet you for the tour at the agreed place and time. Enjoy your personal museum experience – you can ask all the questions you want.

Once the tour is completed, we encourage you to rate your guide and the experience.

How do you become a guide?

Onboarding as a GoMuseum guide is easy – fill in the onboarding form. If you have any questions, please use our contact form or call us at +45 32959696.

GoMuseum gives you the opportunity to share your passion for art and culture with museums guests. Maybe you are already an experienced guide and would like to join our team to reach an even wider group of guests? Maybe you are well into your studies or you have just graduated and want to put your acquired knowledge and your passion to good use?

As a GoMuseum guide you design your own tours. Maybe you like to do museum highlights, maybe you like guiding with a children’s perspective in mind, or you are driven by your personal fascination and want to open people’s eyes for a certain period, school or artist through your own signature tours?

As a GoMuseum guide you set your own price and you determine your working hours.

GoMuseum charges a minor fee for marketing, developing and maintaining the GoMuseum platform, providing excellent customer service and enabling secure payment between the museum guests and the guides.

Do you need our help ?

MY BOOKING:

Yes. To use the GoMuseum app you are required to register as a user in order to complete your booking. You can register in the app. Registering on the GoMuseum app is free and you can delete your profile at any time.
Please click ‘book a guide’ on top of the web page.
Please write or call the guide by using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation. Or contact GoMuseum and we will help you connect with your guide.

PAYMENT & CANCELLATION:

A personal guided tour with the guide selected by you at your chosen timing. The price listed include the guide fee set by the museum guide as well as a small booking fee to GoMuseum. All prices are in EURO incl. VAT. No tipping is expected. Entrance/admissions fees to the museum/sight are NOT included.
GoMuseum will be offering its guide services in a number of countries. The exchange rate is set by your payment provider/bank.
Payment is made by credit or debit card on the time of the booking. We currently accept VISA/Dankort, VISA card and Mastercard.
You may cancel your booking up to 24H prior to the scheduled timing of your tour. To cancel your tour and request a refund please contact GoMuseum. You CANNOT cancel by contacting your guide only.
You can only pay for your booking with a payment card through the app.

GENERAL:

Please check, that you are in the right place and time as stated in your booking confirmation. The telephone number and email of your guide will be included in your booking confirmation. We suggest as a first step that you try to contact your guide directly. You may also at any time contact GoMuseum.
GoMuseum strive to offer high quality guides. Please check the profiles of the guides for an understanding of their backgrounds, passion and focus points. We encourage guests to rate their experience. Guides not meeting a certain level will be excluded from the platform.
The guides are not employed by GoMuseum, but uses the GoMuseum platforms to market their services in a safe and secure payment environment. The guides set their own fees and GoMuseum charges a small fee on top of that. The prices listed in the app are the total prices incl. VAT. The guides and GoMuseum share the ambition to provide our guests with a high-quality experience!
GoMuseum guides are instructed to adhere to local COVID-19 guidelines at any time. Furthermore, our concept of personal guided tours allows you to limit your group size to your preference.
Complaints can be sent directly to GoMuseum. To constantly improve the quality of our tours we encourage all guests to rate their guide and their experience. Furthermore, we also welcome feedback on our Social Media platforms. Such feedback will need name identification by the sender.
We recommend all guests to ensure they have an appropriate insurance policy before joining the tour. However, GoMuseum guides are covered by a limited business liability insurance. You canfurther consult our User Terms and Conditions link.
